Beverly Hills: what changes on the visit
Beverly Hills splits fairly cleanly into two build eras, and it changes what a Sub-Zero service call looks like. In the Flats — the grid-street blocks south of Sunset, built mostly in the 1920s and 1930s — a built-in column is often sharing a kitchen with original 1920s–1950s electrical, which matters for a compressor or air-handler diagnosis. In the Hills, on the winding, graded streets north of Sunset, kitchens tend to be more recently remodeled with denser built-in refrigeration, sometimes multiple columns in one kitchen. Kyle and Alex confirm access, parking, and panel-ready cabinetry details before the visit, whether it's a flats property near Beverly Drive or a hillside home above Sunset.
The diagnostic approach itself doesn't change by neighborhood: the dual-compressor sealed system, compressor cycling, and air handler are checked as a system on every call. That process, and the full list of Sub-Zero symptoms we diagnose, is set out on the Sub-Zero repair page.
